KA-BAR is most known for the KA BAR knife, a 12-inch combat Bowie knife used by the US Marine Corps and US Navy in World War II. The KA BAR knife has a 7" clip-point blade made of 1095 carbon steel and features a leather-washer or synthetic handle made of Kraton. Although the company was initially known for its hunting knives, KA-BAR has expanded to combat knives, survival knives, folding knives and knives designed specifically for law enforcement personnel. |
